After the first loss

A small loss can ruin your whole day.

The trade reaches the loss you planned to accept. Then you decide to keep it open. You move the stop, you add contracts, and you sit there waiting for it to come back. That is how a $200 loss turns into a $2,000 loss.

1. A normal loss You are down the amount you planned to risk on the trade.
2. You will not take it You decide the trade just needs more time to work.
3. You move the stop You drag it further away so you do not get stopped out.
4. You add contracts You buy more to improve your average price.
5. You will not close it Closing now means admitting the trade was wrong.
6. The loss is huge One trade now costs more than a week of good ones.

Wait for your price

Do not chase a move that already happened.

Chasing a move can leave you entering far from the level you planned. Mark your level first. If price runs away, wait. If it returns, check whether it meets your entry rules before taking a trade. You do not have to trade every move.

Your level Too late Wait Check entry
Too late. The move already happened here. Wait. If price returns to your level, look for your entry confirmation.

After a loss that hurt

Close the trade. Walk away. Come back smaller.

When you want your money back right now, you are not making decisions. You are reacting. So the plan is short: close the trade, get away from the screen, and do not trade again until you are calm. When you come back, use a smaller size. Choosing not to trade is also a decision.

01

Stop

Close the platform and get away from the screen.

02

Come back

Sit down again only when you are calm enough to follow your plan.

03

Start smaller

Cut your size. Do not try to win it all back in one trade.

Market Map Extended above VWAP Real FVG Reversal block VWAP Entry Target Stop

Market Map marks the level before price gets there.

VWAP Deviation shows how far price is above its average. Use that information when reviewing an entry.

Price comes back down, fills the Real FVG gap, and taps the green Reversal block sitting at the level.

In this example, the planned entry is at the level, the stop is below the block, and the target is above. The trade still needs to meet your entry rules.
