Elev8+ product guide
Understand the steps between an AutoTrader strategy signal and a broker order, what you control, and what to check before enabling automated trading.

What You Will Learn
Automating a strategy moves order execution into software; it does not remove losing trades, connection problems, or the need to understand the strategy. Evaluate the trading rules and the operational workflow separately. A clear setup process can help you check the connection, but it is not evidence that the strategy will be profitable in your account.
Work through these checks in order. The examples explain a process; they are not instructions to place a trade.
Read the product explanation and distinguish AutoTrader from Hybrid Trader. The dashboard lets you choose the strategy for an eligible account. Do not assume a separate Market Health reading is automatically used as a filter, or that every TradingView indicator signal is an instruction to this system.
Check the currently supported broker connections on the product page and identify the intended account and environment. A successful login alone is not enough: confirm the account selection and the strategy assigned to it. Ask your provider about any restrictions on automation before enabling entries.
Review the contract count and the strategy's exit behavior before trading. Where supported, use demo to observe entries, protective orders, and closed trades. Simulation can reveal setup mistakes but does not reproduce all live fills, slippage, or disconnections.
Check account state, positions, and order status rather than assuming a cloud-based service never needs attention. Know how to stop new entries and separately verify what happens to an existing position. A disabled entry switch should not be assumed to mean the account is flat.
A strategy may qualify a trade while a connection, account permission, or broker response prevents the expected order. Diagnose the signal, submission, and broker state separately. Do not infer account performance solely from a chart marker or hypothetical strategy result.
A backtest shows what a model produced under its assumptions. It is not the same as your brokerage statement. Review costs, drawdowns, sample periods, and whether a result is simulated or live before deciding what it tells you. Future trading can differ substantially.
